It's a Goat Life!

Its hard to believe that right before Covid hit, my family and I were just dreaming of our farm but with some hard work we are able to live our dream. As of right now we have produce, eggs, and dairy goats. We plan on expanding to even more kinds livestock and fruit. There is nothing better than having fresh eggs every morning and of course my husband's favorite, jalapenos. Our dairy goats consist of our non-registered mini herd and our full size registered Nubians and Snubians. These little guys are super sweet and can always put a smile on your face with their antics.

While they are a joy to have, they are also a lot of work. Audrey and I are out there with the little devils most of the time. Which means that they are just a little (not!) bit spoiled. We were honored to be able to introduce our first set of kids on our farm, twin mini snubians. We have been working nonstop with them to get them used to people and to make sure that they are growing. They have really flourished this past week and have gained over a pound. Remi, their mom, has been doing fabulous after her bout with milk fever. We also introduced 2 new registered goats to our registered herd. A gorgeous Nubian named Tikka and handsome Willie, a Snubian. They will produce awesome babies with great milk lines when they get older.

Our babies, and lets face it they are all babies, love to get loved. So if anyone wants to hug, brush, or just sit, schedule a farm visit. We would love for you to stop by and see the babies or we can fullfil an order for eggs, produce, signs, or fresh baked goodies.
